Overview

Why did you want to lose weight?

The trigger for my weight loss was my constant unhappiness with myself and my body. I had tried so many diets and suffered a lot of setbacks.

"When I'm feeling unmotivated, I often look at old pictures of myself and that always reminds me how far I've already come."

However, I managed to regain my strength and courage after these setbacks. After high school, in 2013, I had more time to focus on exercise and nutrition.

What goals did you want to reach?

My main goal was, and still is, sincere and complete acceptance of my body. I finally want to look in the mirror and be able to say: "Wow, you look great!"

How did you reach your goals?

During my weight-loss phase, I did a lot of exercise. Even now, I do strength training 4 to 5 times a week. I also give dance lessons and dance once a week.

With YAZIO's help, I keep an eye on my calorie intake and ensure that I stay within a healthy calorie deficit. I'm currently following a low-carb diet.

Did you have setbacks?

There were, and still are, times that I've experienced setbacks. In these moments, I look back at what I've already accomplished and use that to regain strength to keep going. When I'm feeling unmotivated, I often look at old pictures of myself and that always reminds me how far I've already come.

What are your future goals?

I would like to lose an additional 10 lb and concentrate even more on strength training and healthy eating.

It's really important for me to show other YAZIO users that they can reach their goal. Unfortunately, nothing in life is free, but eventually, your hard work will pay off and you can be really proud of yourself in the end!
