Why did you want to lose weight?

I had already given up on my goal to lose weight again and had already given away all of the clothes that were too small for me. Then, everything suddenly became clear and I started using YAZIO.

"I wanted to get down to 130 lb. Now, I've stopped trying to lose weight and have started living a smoke-free life."

My husband just smiled wearily because I'd already tried to lose weight many times. But this time, it worked. I was actually already paying attention to my diet, but I suspect that an under-functioning thyroid and the fact that I was about to enter menopause caused me to gain 20 lb. I've always exercised, but I found it hard to maintain my weight with it.

What did you want to accomplish on your journey?

At first, I wanted to get down to 140 lb and then 138 lb, but now, I've actually gotten down to 133 lb and would like to maintain that weight.

How did you reach your goals?

With YAZIO, I kept an eye on my calorie intake and exercised 4 times a week. I set priorities to reach my goal:
- No alcohol and balancing out birthday parties with exercise, for example.
- I cooked low-calorie meals and ate sweets in such a way that they fit into my meal plan.
Those around me were also aware of my weight-loss goals and the app, and were incredibly supportive.

How did YAZIO help you?

By entering everything in the YAZIO app, I was able to keep an eye on my calorie intake and when I cooked, I could create a recipe in YAZIO. This allowed me to have an overview of my calorie intake at lunch and to continue cooking my usual meals. That was great!

Did you have setbacks?

I didn't really have any setbacks! My biggest enemy was my impatience. Unfortunately, I'm not someone who can lose 20 lb in 10 weeks. That's why I looked for motivation through exchanges in the Facebook group. Plus, my previous accomplishments motivate me to keep going and not give up.

What advice do you have for other users?

Always listen to yourself and ask these two questions: "What do I want?" and "How can I do it?", especially when things aren't going the way you want them to.

What are your future goals?

I wanted to get down to 130 lb. Now, I've stopped trying to lose weight and have started living a smoke-free life.

YAZIO continues to help me because it's extremely important for me to keep an eye on my calorie intake again. It's working really well. My next goal is to take part in a half marathon.
