What do you find most difficult about reaching your goal?

Why did you want to lose weight?

The reason I wanted to make a change was a picture I saw of myself. I thought, "Kerstin, it can't go on like this."

What did you want to accomplish on your journey?

My goal was to lose weight healthily and in the long term without starving myself, and then to maintain that weight. More than anything, I wanted to build my self-esteem and feel good about myself again.

How did you reach your goals?

With YAZIO, I managed to lose 29 pounds. With the app, I had an overview of my daily calorie intake and was able to stay in a deficit. I also changed my eating habits thanks to the fantastic recipes. I ate more fruits and vegetables, and I exercise more now.

Of course, I also had cheat days sometimes, but the next day I just continued as usual and jogged one more round.

Did you have setbacks?

Of course, I had setbacks. There were times I wasn't losing weight even though I was in a deficit and working out. But over time, I've learned that this isn't bad. There will always be days or weeks like that.
Nevertheless, you definitely shouldn't give up. You have to keep going. The day will come when the weight starts falling off again.

What advice do you have for other users?

Once you've started with YAZIO, you've already taken the first step. Set small goals and document them with pictures. Spend time getting to know foods and create your own favorite recipes in the app.
If you have a setback, just keep going the next day. And always remember: You're doing this for you and nobody else.

What are your future goals?

My goal is to maintain my weight and run a half marathon. Right now, I can easily run 9 miles. Thanks to my weight loss, I have so much self-confidence and ambition that I want to keep setting goals for myself.
